The Beast Makers

The Beast Makers is a Montpellier-based studio specializing in 3D character rigging, VFX and production tools. We design and build the technical backbone behind animated characters and creatures: production-proof rigs, deformation systems, and the pipeline tools that keep studios fast and consistent from prototype to delivery.

Our in-house toolset, TBM Tools and TBM2D, is developed alongside our productions and shaped by real production constraints. It lets us deliver rigs that are robust, animator-friendly and easy to integrate into any pipeline.

Recent work includes:

• Falcon Express (Pets on a train): TAT Production, all heros character rigging and facial setup

• Star Wars Outlaws: UBISOFT, Nix creature rig and deformation R&D

• King: Mathematic Films, VFX, Lion cub face Facs rig, Muscles system and simulations and 40 shots animation.
